To update the product to the latest version, navigate to the previously deployed CloudFormation template and update the stack with the new template file.

Inspect for any error alerts upon application failure:
An application failure typically results in an error message. The error message provides details about what has gone wrong, which can help to diagnose the problem.
To recover the software:
Software has no dedicated recovery process, but the RDS Database will contains service performance data which can be recovered manually and navigate to the previously deployed CloudFormation template and update the stack with the existing template file to get the new application with performance data which we recovered manually.
